In Iike man- ner Advices were fenc by difguifed Meffengers to che Kingdom of Chili, who were publickly to precend, chat they were fenc ro enquire of the Health of PauUr1, and the High Prieíl: Pillac Vmu, but were fecrecly to inform them of the trutb and depth of che deíign, whofe part therein was to fall upon Almagro and bis people, and utterly to defüoy chem ; wirhout which there was no hopes for the Inca. of Reílauration to his Empire. The people being in Atrns, the I nca. gave unto the people their refpeéhve tasks and parts of the work; thofe who were che ln-land Inhabitams, as far as from Arahuayfla, and thofe along che Coaíl. from Ntn111fa.c, which were on che fide of Chinchafayu, were to atcernpt Rimac, and kill the Go- \Ternour and his Cornpany.
